The players best 3 scores (from 4 events) are used to determine entry to the club championship (8 players).

Please note the following with qualification:

1. Only players best 3 tournaments will count towards qualification;
2. Players who have missed 1 or more events to date can increase their standing significantly in the final tournament;
3. If a tie on points occurs for 8th place, the tie-break will be sum of progressive scores for the 3 best events for the players;
4. Requested 1/2 point byes have been removed from players qualification scores;
5. The upcoming Western Masters event is not a qualification event, as the club will be split into rating groups for this tournament. The final qualification tournament is the 7 round Koshnitsky Cup to be held after the Western Masters;
6. Winning any of the qualification events outright awards the winner automatic qualification.
