Well done to Nathan for taking out the tournament with the score of 4.5 / 5, and in doing so becoming the 2nd player to automatically qualify for this year’s club championship alongside Tony as the winner of the only completed event from last year.
Next week we will play a stand-alone evening of lightning chess. Each player will play 7 games, with a 5 second plus 3 second increment time control. The following week we will commence our next rated event, the 5 round Purdy Cup.
